You Are My Valentine: Gifts to Show Appreciation for Loved Ones
Valentine’s Day is a holiday where you show appreciation to a loved one. Gift giving is a great way to do just this, however it may be difficult to find the perfect gift for the person you love.
A great gift for your significant other is Lego Flowers. “If I had a girlfriend, I would give her many gifts, but the most special gift would be Lego flowers because girls love flowers, and these never die,” said senior Max High. “For Valentine’s Day, I would want my girlfriend to get matching hoodies so we can wear them together.”
For Valentine’s Day, you don’t only get gifts for significant others, you can get gifts for your family too. “I would get my mom a beautiful necklace and I would get my dad his favorite candy,” said senior Julia DiCaprio. “From my parents, I would want a new water bottle and gift cards to my most visited restaurants.”
Another great gift for your family would be something personalized with you and them. “My sister has always wanted a necklace with a picture of us because she lives far away, so I don’t get to see her often,” said junior Aadith Arancherry. “I would want the same thing from my sister, but as a bracelet because I don’t wear necklaces.”
A nice gift to your best friend would show them how you are thankful for them. “I appreciate my best friend so much, so I would get a Valentine’s Day gift for her so I can show her how much she means to me. I would get her a personalized photo frame with a bunch of pictures of us because she loves taking pictures,” said senior Sarah Henault. “I would want the same thing from her because I like filling my room with photos, so that would be perfect.”
Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with the people you love the most!
