It all starts so peaceful
It feels as if it shall never end
The birds are chirping, the sun is gleaming
Is this a happy end?
The storm starts to follow while the rain becomes clear,
It washes away my smiles and joy
With lots of terror and fear.
I get a cold sweat, a feeling of sickness
As if I’m on a deathbed
I get this pounding in my head,
While my skin turns itchy and red.
The bright day turns to night and I can feel the monsters near,
I run and hide but no matter where I go
I never lose the fear.
My reality is torn and instantaneously, I’m falling in a never ending hole,
Progressively dropping, tears falling, dreading the unknown
As I look down and see the bottom, I feel the end is near
But before I hit the concrete floor, BOOM!
It disappears.
I jump as I wake up, it all felt so real,
A dream, a horrid dream, is all it was
Thank God the nightmare disappeared.
My anxiety and adrenaline reduce, while my tears slowly drew up
I try my best to rest my head, anxious to just wake up.
