As winter is right around the corner many people are beginning to make plans for the upcoming season. If you are looking for something local, Coral springs has got you covered.
Every year, Coral Springs hosts three main events for the holiday season: Light Up the Lawn, The Holiday Market, and The Annual Holiday Parade. These events are a perfect way to bring the community together.
On Saturday December 2 from 5 to 7pm, the city will be hosting Light Up the Lawn. This event marks the kick off to the holiday season with the traditional tree lighting ceremony at 6pm. This tree stands tall on the City Hall Lawn for all to see. There will be train rides, a snow zone, vendors, light up displays and more.
Saturday December 9 is the Holiday Market. You can shop for great gifts for friends and family. This event will be held on City Hall Lawn and there will be many small local businesses such as Roxy’s Enchanted Gifts, Pura Natura Soaps, Karma Bath Co., Unique Eats, The A to Z Boutique and so much more. This is a perfect spot to cross one more item off that holiday shopping list.
Wednesday, December 13 is the Annual Holiday Parade. This is a great event that brings together the whole community. Schools and organizations in Coral Springs create festive floats and go through the city. This event goes through a sample road and is streamed on bluestream. You are responsible to bring your own seats to sit along the side of the road. There will be handicap seats available along Sample Road.
All these events are no cost to get into. The events are an affordable way to get into the holiday spirit and are great for all ages to enjoy.
