The Halloween Block Party hosted by the Interact Club was a night filled with fun, costumes, and community spirit! Held on Friday, October 18th from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, the event brought together families and friends for an evening at Cherry Smash. With vibrant decorations, exciting activities, and delicious treats, the block party aimed to create a memorable experience for all, while promoting the club’s mission of support and engagement.
Many lined up out front for the well-known delicious ice cream from Cherry Smash. Walking in, there were scary Halloween decorations like witches and zombies around the counter. Once you picked out your ice cream, there was a seating area with even more décor. To add to it all, inside there was even colored light to add to the spooky atmosphere.
The games and entertainment at the Halloween block Party provided endless fun for the community. There were games like Headbands, Mancala, Jenga, and more. Kids also had a great time jumping around in the bounce house. A permanent jewelry stand let people pick out their own unique pieces, and there was a custom clothes booth for adding a personal touch to your outfits. “Flowers from Judith,” a flower truck even had some pretty sunflowers you could buy.
Overall, this was a fantastic celebration that brought the community together for a night of fun and excitement. From the lovely games and entertainment to the delicious ice cream and creative booths, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The spirit of Halloween filled the air, making it a memorable evening for families and friends. As the night ended, it was clear that events like this not only encourage community connections but also create lasting memories. I can’t wait to see what the Interact Club has in store next.
