At the beginning of every year, a special ceremony takes place to celebrate the making of the most popular entertainment throughout the year and the people who contributed to it, known as the golden globe ceremony. At the Golden Globe’s, many famous actors and actresses are chosen as nominees to receive an award for their outstanding performances.
In the Golden Globe ceremony, there are several categories that actors have the chance to win an award in such as best performance by a female actress in a television series, best television series, best performance by a male actor in a supporting role on television, and so much more.
When it comes to the nominees of receiving these awards, many well known and popular celebrities were chosen, such as Selena Gomez for best performance by a female actor in a television series in "Only murders in the building”. Cooper Koch was nominated for best performance by a male actor in a limited series, anthology series, or a motion picture made for television in his performance as Erik Menenedez in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.” Adam Sandler was nominated for best performance in stand-up comedy on television in Love you, and significantly more.
Not only are there nominees for amazing actors, but also amazing shows and movies. Some nominees for Best Animated motion picture were “Inside out 2”, “Moana 2”, and the Wild Robot. Some other nominees for best cinematic and box office achievement were “Twisters”, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, and “Wicked”, who ended up being the winner of the category.
Although there are so many nominees for a plethora of categories, only a select few get chosen to be the winner. When it comes to best performance by an Actress in a supporting role in any motion picture, Zoe Saldana won this award, causing much controversy as people felt Ariana Grande was more deserving.
Although these are just a few of the many nominees and winners of the 2025 golden globe ceremony, much entertainment was noticed and appreciated during this grand ceremony.
