The Coral Springs Charter boys’ and girls’ track teams have been competing at a very high level this season. They have won multiple events at different meets and are improving as they prepare for districts, regionals, and, hopefully, states.
The boys’ and girls’ track and field teams have performed well throughout every meet so far in the 2025 season. Many athletes have excelled in various events across different competitions. At the Coral Springs Area School Championships on Feb. 25, senior Adrianna Harris won first place in the discus with an outstanding throw of 29.51 meters. In addition, senior Mackenzie Maniscalco led the javelin throw with a mark of 27.46 meters. They were both awarded first place in their respective events.
In the Coral Springs Week 1 meet on Feb. 19, the team continued its strong performances. Sophomore Sydney Leath secured seventh place in the 100-meter dash finals with a time of 13.35 seconds. On the boys’ side, junior Justin Laroche achieved a high jump of 1.67 meters. Also, junior Chase Powell cleared 2.95 meters in the pole vault, and junior William Urena recorded a triple jump of 12.08 meters.
The Coral Springs Charter boys’ and girls’ track and field teams have shown consistent performances at every meet. All of these athletes are demonstrating their dedication and talent on the track. Their various achievements in all events contribute to the team’s success as a well-respected program in the Broward area.
