Club Carnival Recap

Club Carnival, hosted by SGA, took place on January 20th. Many of our school’s clubs competed against each other for the grand prize of $100.

There were 4 brackets each comprising three clubs. Select players from each club competed in games such as human sized Hungry Hungry Hippos, Corn Hole, Cup Stacking, etc. In the end the last four teams from each bracket that would score the most points, advanced to the finals to play Four Square.

The clubs who made it to the ultimate showdown were SADD, Momentum, NHS, and Debate. It was a very intense game that had spectators on their feet. On multiple occasions, there were reviews on the plays taking place, which brought tons of suspense. The first two clubs to be eliminated were NHS and SADD, which left Momentum and Debate to face off for the grand prize. After many close calls and many reruns, Debate took home the win.

The SGA Leadership class is hoping to submit this event to FASC, where all members will go to States and present the events they created throughout the year.
