Students share their favorite 10-minute break snacks to grab.

Goldfish
Goldfish come in a wide array of flavors, from sweet flavors such as vanilla cupcake and s’mores to savory ones like cheese pizza and x-tra cheddar. The small fish-shaped crackers are a healthier alternative to most chips and don’t contain any artificial flavoring.
Poptarts
Pop-Tarts are a colorful on-the-go treat to indulge in when needing something sweet to eat. The pastries come in fruity flavors like cherry and strawberry, as well as chocolate sundae and cookies and cream. There are a myriad of flavor options when it comes to this food option.
Pizza
Sold by the freshman class on Tuesday and Thursday in the main lobby for $2, pizza is available to grab for people who forget to bring a snack or for those who want a more filling food. It is a convenient and savory bite to get students through the day.
Protein Bar
Protein bars are an easy way to fuel the body and remove the feeling of hunger. While they are packed with nutrition, one must also remember not to substitute them for meals and should treat them as an energizing snack.
Candy
Although candy is not the healthiest option to consume, there are surprisingly some benefits the sugary delicacy has to offer. People often associate candy with positive thoughts and as many adolescents see school as a mental burden, eating these can lighten up a stressful day. Chocolate even reduces the risk of health disease, so as long as enjoyed in moderation, many candies can be beneficial.
Pretzels
Pretzels are an affordable thing to snack on, with a crunchy and salty taste many can enjoy. Additionally, they are versatile and can be dipped in things like cheese and mustard to elevate flavor, or be covered in chocolate and yogurt to add a sweet twist.
Fruit
Fruit is a natural food that provides many nourishing minerals, fibers, and vitamins for the body. Rich in a variety of nutrients and low in calories, as well as free of artificial flavors and unwanted dyes, fruit is one of the best snacks one could get. Bananas, blueberries, and watermelons are just a few of the many options out there.
Chips
Chips are addicting from a crisp crunch to the flavor they provide, many people can’t get enough of them. They come in a variety of flavors like sour cream and onion, sea salt and vinegar, and barbeque.
