We were born alike, under the same sky, breathing the same wind.
Light washed over you,purifying you,
bleaching you,polishing you,
made ready for life.
For me, it arrived in fragments,
uneven,
maybe shards scattered in the wind,
maybe lost in the density,
but never enough to make me shine, never enough to let me forget I was not you.
Some lives catch sunlight by birth, others fight for scraps, the same world, but some shadows are heavier, and some lightis never meant to reach you.
And I learnedthat some livesare built to shine, and someare built to carry shadows.
