The Science National Honor Society held its annual Science Career Night on November 13th in the school cafeteria. This event was intended for students eager to explore future pathways in STEM.
The event was organized by science teachers Mayra Marchetti and Kristin Grassi, who worked closely with SNHS club officers to create a learning experience for students interested in STEM.

Throughout the night, students had the opportunity to meet professionals from a variety of science fields, each offering a unique perspective on their work, receiving stamps for each workshop they went to.

Representatives from healthcare, environmental science, engineering, research, and technology shared their education paths, daily responsibilities, and advice for students considering similar careers.

Interactive tables allowed attendees to learn about specific specialties, ask questions, and get a closer look at what different jobs are really about. Whether students were science lovers or curious about the possibilities, the event offered something for everyone.

SNHS volunteers guided attendees, helped facilitate discussions, and ensured that each student had the chance to explore multiple workshops.

Marchetti and Grassi hoped that the evening would spark new interests and encourage students to envision themselves in future STEM roles. The enthusiastic conversations throughout the night proved that this event was a success in doing such.

As Science National Honor Society continues its mission to promote STEM careers, events like this highlight the importance of science in all aspects of life.
