Acting, and singing is more than a talent for Ashley Hearn, it’s a passion. While her friends go to malls and hang outs, Ashley heads to rehearsal. With having a lead role in the play, according to Hearn she practices 2 hours everyday but still makes time for her homework. Managing school and rehearsal is not easy, although for Hearn she splits her time up evenly, as she gets home from school she does her school work first and then any other theater work after.

Performing is one of the special highlights of theater but also one of the most stressful things. While performing she does get nervous but she handles stress well. “ Yes I do get nervous” says Hearn, “but I tell myself it’s what I love to do so I push the rest aside because it’s what I love doing.” Ashley truly has passion for theater however getting nervous before she performs can be a hard thing to control but she does it just the right way. While being on stage she loves performing and showcasing her talent, shining bright on the stage.

Through her strict schedule and her ability to handle stress and nerves, Ashely Hearn proves her passion and talent for theater. As she continues to balance her school work and time on the stage, Ashely is ready to keep shining. For her theater isn’t just a hobby, it’s what she has the passion for.
