When students at Coral Springs Charter are looking to get their nails done, many of them go to none other than Charter’s very own Colbie Harootunian.
Harootunian is a Senior that has only been doing nails for less than a year, but has had a huge round up of happy returning customers. She works right from her own house, and has clients in and out every single day. She is constantly praised for her impressive work and constant growth.
Lots of these clients happen to be senior and junior girls. Senior Hayley Black, who gets her nails done by Harootunian on a regular basis, is more than happy with the service she has received. “I come out more satisfied every time I go to her for my nails. She can do unique and complicated designs with no trouble.” Black explained.
Others complement her price range, like junior Emma Vido. She says “she is just as good as a regular nail tech at a nail salon, and doesn’t charge the absurd price that they usually do”. Girls at charter have had nothing but positive experiences with Harootunian’s work.
However, this is just a side hustle for her. When she's not doing nails, she works take out at a pizza restaurant. She handles the impressive balance of her 2 jobs, all while being a well graded student.
Harootunian’s future awaits her at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she is recently committed to. When asked what her nail business will become once she takes the next step to college, she responded, “It is one of my passions. I plan to continue it at FGCU, with new clients and new experiences!”.
