Dear Panthers,
It was a week of notable performances for our school’s athletes. The swim team delivered a dominant display at States. The soccer team showed great resilience, earning well-deserved wins and loses while facing tough challenges in their matches.
Congratulations to our swimming team for making it to states and accomplishing great things in this season. The boys team placed eighth or of 52 schools, while the girls placed 19th. Both teams advanced to their last year placement as the boys ranked 20th and the girls ranked 34th.
The team acquired a total of 15 medals amongst the team in the following:
200 yard Medley Relay
Fifth Place (1:37.55): Junior Anthony Palumbo, junior John Albornoz, junior Brian Hamilton, freshman Chris Chaison.
Sixteenth Place (1:57.01): junior Mariana, junior Addison Palumbo, senior Alejandra Gil-Restrepo, eighth-grader Jameela Rashad.

Senior Faith Moberg, a disability swimmer, swam the 50 yard (36.28) and 100 yard (1:26.07) Freestyle and placed first in both events. Moberg made history being the first disability swimmer to become State champ at her level in the state of Florida for FHSAA Swimming and first State Champ for Coral Springs Charter.
On November 10th, the boys varsity, JV, and girls varsity teams hosted games at the home field. The waist boys played against South Fork, the JV boys played against NSU University, while the varsity and JV girls played against Stoneman Douglas.
