Just last September, Ella Cafe opened its third location in Coral Springs, Florida located on 4691 N University Dr. The brand is known for its cozy atmosphere, tasty coffee, homemade pastries and sandwiches, so I decided to see if it’s as good as everyone says.
The setting of Ella Cafe was lovely, with wood, brick and concrete accents making it very welcoming. There are small tables with some separate chairs on the side that make a great variety depending on what you’re looking for. Trendy songs were playing in the background, which gave it a fun vibe. I enjoyed my visit because it wasn’t busy, with just the right amount of people, whether they were chatting with friends or getting work done.
There was a wide drink and food offering at Ella Cafe. From regular lattes and iced coffees to juices along with pastries and sandwiches. I went for the cappuccino, banana bread and avocado toast. The cappuccino I had was rich and creamy with the right amount of foam on top. I don’t think I’ve had a better tasting cappuccino anywhere else. The banana bread tasted like regular banana bread. It was soft and sweet, but nothing special. The avocado toast, to me, really popped with fresh avocado, tomato, mozzarella and a drizzle of balsamic. I enjoyed the good flavor, only the bread was a little overdone for my taste. The food and drinks are delicious, with their ingredients clearly being great quality. They also have vegan and gluten-free options, which is nice.
The service is very good and pretty fast. The staff is super nice and immediately took my order. It did not take long for my food or drink to arrive. Their menu was slightly on the pricey side though. The cappuccino was an okay price, but the avocado toast was $14, which seemed a bit much for what you get. It was delicious, but I think somewhat pricey compared to other cafes around.
Ella caffe has a great vibe. Coffee was fantastic, and the staff is friendly. I rate it 4 stars out of 5. It is a great place for students, coffee lovers, or anyone just looking for a comfortable place to relax. I will surely go back.
